The Alcohol Passport proves your knowledge of Finland's Alcohol Act. It is commonly required for supervisors and responsible persons working in licensed restaurants, bars, cafés, hotels, and other venues serving alcohol. The test is available in Finnish, Swedish, and English.

How to Get Your Alcohol Passport

Study the Alcohol Act

Prepare by reading the official study material and practising with the Trainify app. Learn about serving rules, age limits, responsibilities, opening hours, and alcohol legislation.

Register for the Test

Select your preferred language, location, and test date. Complete your registration online and receive your confirmation by email.

Pay the Test Fee

The test fee varies depending on the test location and organiser. Payment is completed during online registration.

Take the Test

The exam usually contains 32–40 questions and lasts about 45–60 minutes. You must answer at least 80% correctly to pass. Bring a valid photo ID to the test centre.

Receive Your Certificate

After passing the exam, you will receive your Alcohol Passport certificate. Keep it safe and present it to your employer whenever required.
