Most seasonal agricultural jobs in Finland run from June to September. Apply early — positions fill up fast. Some berry farms accept applications from March onwards.

Many farms provide basic accommodation on-site or nearby. Always confirm this before accepting a position — costs vary.
EU/EEA citizens can work freely. Non-EU workers may need a seasonal work permit from Migri. Apply early as processing takes time.
Berry picking is often paid by the kilogram (per kilo rate varies by berry type). Farm labour is typically paid hourly at minimum wage (around €12–14/hour). Working hours are usually 8–10 hours per day during peak season.
Experienced berry pickers can earn significantly more than minimum wage. Speed and consistency matter — practice improves your earnings quickly.
